This mature extension to a post-war residence in Brighton transforms the original tan brick dwelling into a contemporary family home.
Our design approach was precise, integrating new volumes that enhance the home’s liveability while respecting its mid-century heritage.
This curved wall creates a sense of curiosity, naturally drawing visitors toward the new living spaces and hinting at the continuation of the home beyond the corner.
The master suite has been reimagined as a grand retreat. We incorporated a full-length walk-in robe to maximize utility, while the ensuite offers a sense of luxury through carefully selected stone textures, soft curves, and recessed lighting.
In the kitchen, a bold, dark palette provides a striking contrast, balanced by our signature fixed glazing, which floods the space with natural light. This deliberate focus on light and volume allows the room to breathe.
The utility spaces, such as the laundry, have been elevated with a focus on simple, elegant functionality.
Through close collaboration with our clients, we have maximized the home’s functional potential, creating beautiful, meaningful moments in every room.
